How to Put Drops in Dog’s Eyes
I needed to put drops in my Dog’s eyes because they were runny and goopy every day. Many things could cause eyes to be teary. Dust, dirt, plants, allergies or worse a scratch on the dog’s eyes could cause them to tear or discharge mucus.
I needed to put drops in my dog's eyes to prevent them from becoming infected.
I first phoned my vet and asked what would be acceptable for eye drops to put into my dogs eyes.

Kayaking with Dog on Quaboag RiverMy dog Daisy and I kayaked the Quaboag River in Brookfield Mass.
Daisy dog got into our kayak, and paddled across the Quaboag River to see a very tall bird, I think it’s a Great Blue Heron, greeting us with deep croaky squawks. This bird is familiar with nosy kayakers. We paddled closer and didn’t fly away. The Heron showed us it’s impressively huge wing span while hopping further into the marsh. Maybe this Heron was curious and hadn’t seen a dog in a kayak on the Quaboag River before.

Make DIY Dog Dry Shampoo to Clean Stinky or Dirty Dogs
Daisy and I enjoy many adventures, the kind of adventures where being dirty means we had fun.
Daisy likes to come with me, where ever I go or miss any fun. To bring Daisy with me into a businesses or shop, she needs to be respectably clean, and smell nice. So we whip up a little DIY dry dog shampoo to clean up when Daisy is only a little dirty, add a little fragrance, and we are good to go anywhere.

Pets on Vacation Like the Same Food
While you make plans to travel with your dog, think about their dog foods, dog vitamins and dog medicines that you are feeding them. Plan ahead and know where when you travel with your dog, where you’ll find your dog’s food, and supplements along your route or at your destination. It’s best for your pet to have the same diet on vacation as at home. Some dogs can eat and digest anything; other dogs need special diets, vitamins and medicines. Like other Border Collies, mine has a diet suggestion from her vet that has made a positive difference in her health..

Kayak Storage Solution
Our kayak storage is a bit of wall space under a window in the garage. A pair of inexpensive hooks keeping our kayak stored off the floor has made more space in the garage. A few more hooks were added, now the life vests and shoes hang and dry out. All our gear for fun is in one place, easy to find and collect it all. One look back at the empty wall, and I know I have everything we need for out next adventure. |

Dog Life Jacket
My dog's life jacket is one of the most important item in our river adventure gear. We each wear one every time we are on the water. My dog’s life jacket fits her well and keeps her above the water when she is swimming.
Hot summer days, we enjoy exploring ponds, lakes and rivers. We have a long list of exciting trips and we look forward to our next next paddling adventure and always have my dog's life jacket and mine on every trip.

Christmas Shopping with my Dog
December 2019, we need to get Christmas shopping done and Daisy and I needed to hurry, because Christmas was two weeks away, and we have nothing done. Web shopping is convenient and saves me from long drives, crowded parking lots and people with road rage. Daisy finds internet shopping a bore. We compromised, and went out shopping. It’s what you do as a dog parent.

Blackstone River and Canal in Uxbridge, MA
A beautiful dog friendly park is a nice treat for you and your dog. Daisy and I met my niece and her dog at the Riverbend Visitor Center on Oak Street, in Uxbridge. This dog friendly park offers locations for fishing, paddling, and photography, walking, and jogging. All dogs were on leashes and wagging their tails. They were excited to meet other dogs out for a walks along the canal, or around the grassy field and trails. I found this to be one of the most dog friendly parks I’ve visited.
