Kayaking with Dog on Quaboag River
My Border Collie, Daisy dog & I kayaked the Quabog River in Brookfield Mass. Daisy dog got into our kayak, and paddled across the Quaboag River to see a very tall bird, I think it’s a Great Blue Heron, greeting us with deep croaky squawks. This bird is familiar with nosy kayakers. We paddled closer and didn’t fly away. The Heron showed us it’s impressively huge wing span while hopping further into the marsh. Maybe this Heron was curious and hadn’t seen a dog in a kayak on the Quaboag River before.

Canoe with Dog on Colorado River in Moab, UT
We canoed 17 miles of the Colorado River in Moab Utah with our dog, Daisy. We launched the canoe onto the Colorado River at the paved boat, off Route 191, near route 128.
Daisy was excited to be canoing in Moab, and jumped into the canoe first. We got in and pushed off. We started out 17 mile canoe trip down the Colorado River in Moab with our dog.

My dog's life jacket is one of the most important item in our river adventure gear. We each wear one every time we are on the water. My dog’s life jacket fits her well and keeps her above the water when she is swimming.
