Dog's 4th of July Celebration
Daisy enjoys summer grilled & alfresco meals. It’s our family tradition to celebrate Americans signing the Declaration of Independence from Britain and King George III on July 4th 1776.
Daisy’s plans to celebrate our July 4th Independence Day with an old fashioned back yard family cook out.
Daisy’s menu will include grilled burger (no onions for dogs), corn on the cob (no salt), Marie’s delicious egg salad (again no onions), followed by a slice of watermelon and strawberries on angel food cake.
After dinner, we'll be ready for a game of ball and a splash in the pool.
Maybe Daisy's cousin Luna will stop by for a visit and play.
Daisy has a lot of energy and enjoys having a full schedule, and stays very busy, especially on holidays.
We’ve always celebrated the 4th at home, watched the parade, and exchange pleasantries with our neighbors and other townies. The parade may be cancelled this year, and Daisy will sleep better with the fireworks also being cancelled this summer. |
